Amazing Keto recipes for weight loss
Yes, bread, although someone may say that if it does not contain flour it cannot be called that, and being a purist we will have to agree with it, I will tell you that I liked this recipe for cloud bread very much and it lives up to its name because it is a dough so airy that it melts in the mouth.
For years now, the preparation has triumphed on social networks, as it is the perfect complement to what is known as the ketogenic diet or keto diet.
Whether or not it’s real bread, it does not contain gluten or carbohydrates and hardly has any calories, so it is recommended for these special diets or for those who, like me, simply want to try an original and quick recipe for a different breakfast than usual.

We start by preheating the oven to 150ºC. Then, separating the whites from the eggs. Beat the yolks with the cream cheese until you get a smooth, homogeneous dough.
We place a baking paper and distribute 9 piles of dough, forming circles. and bake for 20 minutes.
What to accompany the cloud bread or cloud bread
Cloud bread can be made savory (by adding rosemary, minced garlic, salt, pepper, or spices) or sweet (by adding cocoa). The ingredients you add must be dry so that the dough does not soften and spread out too much when we place it on the oven tray. It is delicious with York ham.
2- Keto Waffle or “chaffless”: the ideal protein recipe
The name chaffless may sound unattractive to us, but it is just one of those terms that are born in the Anglo-Saxon vocabulary when a new culinary invention appears that revolutionizes the networks.
With the union of cheese and waffles, the low-carb keto waffle was born, ideal for diets seeking to reduce carbohydrates and enhance proteins and fats.
Admittedly, the premise sounds too attractive not to arouse curiosity. You only need two ingredients: egg and cheese, although it allows for minor adjustments to make these waffles a more flavorful bite.
Authentic waffles, both are genuine Belgian waffles, and similar versions are not exactly the epitome of light or very healthy food. The keto version proposes starting with a dough made only of beaten egg and grated and chopped mozzarella or cheddar cheese, to be eaten as is or used as a “bread” base in toasts and sandwiches.
Reading different testimonials, and versions on American networks, it seems some people are put off by the excessive egg flavor and texture of the most original recipe -1/2 cup of cheese for each egg-.
To avoid this, here we increase the amount of mozzarella to round up to 100 g and use extra white to compensate without more yolks.
A level tablespoon of ground almonds also helps to improve the flavor and texture of the waffles, without compromising their keto characteristics.
Finally, we can flavor the dough with herbs, spices, or pepper, or look for a “sweet” version with cinnamon, pure cocoa, or vanilla.

If we bake them, preheat the oven to 180ºC and prepare the mold, with two standard cavities or four smaller ones. If it is silicone or non-stick, it will not be necessary to grease it.
Chop the grated cheese with a knife to make it finer. In a bowl, beat the whole egg with the extra egg white (we used pasteurized to better measure the quantity), the cheese, the almonds, and the herbs to taste.
3- Roasted dried fruit curry appetizer
I believe that dried fruits are classic snacks throughout the country, and at least in Murcia, they cannot be missing at aperitif time.
In my house, there is always a jar full of almonds, walnuts, or pistachios, but from time to time I like to buy them raw and give them a special homemade touch. I have prepared an appetizer recipe for roasted curry nuts with an exotic touch.
It is a simple recipe with play according to our pantry or particular taste. I wanted to recall the oriental flavors by adding typical curry spices and the like, although not spicy because I have relatives who do not tolerate it very well.
If this is not your case and you enjoy stronger flavors, you can use hot paprika or add a little cayenne or sriracha sauce.

- Salt- 1 teaspoon
- brown sugar- 1 tablespoon
- Orange or lemon zest- one

We can use the almonds with skin or we can peel them by scalding them first in boiling water. cook the sunflower oil in a frying pan. Add the curry, and the cumin seeds and mix well so that the oil aromatizes. Add the nuts and almonds and stir so that they are impregnated with the flavors.
Add cumin, turmeric, cinnamon, paprika, and salt. Stir well for a couple of minutes. Grate the skin of the orange on top, and add the brown sugar and a dash of black pepper. Stir constantly over medium heat so that the fruits do not burn.
Continue cooking everything for a few more minutes without stopping stirring, until they are well toasted, without burning, and the aromas are fragrant. If we want to enhance the orange flavor, we can add the juice of the fruit that we have used to grate the skin. Let cool off the fire.
