In compliance with the Apprentice Act of 1961, Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW), Patiala, is accepting online applications for the appointment of Act Apprentices for the years 2023–2024. The deadline for registering an online application is October 31, 2023. Only Indian nationals who have passed the ITI are the target audience for this announcement. PLW Patiala Apprentice Age Limit:
- Minimum 15 years.
- Maximum 22 years for Welder & 24 years for other posts.
- Age Relaxation as per Govt Rules.
PLW Patiala Apprentice Salary:
- During 1st year of training – ₹ 7000/- per month
- During 2nd year of training – ₹ 7700/- per month
- During 3rd year of training – ₹ 8050/- per month
PLW Patiala Apprentice Eligibility Criteria
- Welder: 8th standard Pass, and for all other posts: Minimum 10+2 Pass.
- Possession of ITI/NCVT in the relevant trade from an NCVT/SCVT approved institute is required.

- Only online applications via the PLW Indian Railway website, plw.indianrailways.gov.in, are accepted from eligible candidates.
