10 ways to lose weight without dieting
To lose weight, it is not necessary to follow drastic diets. This also risks causing the opposite effect with weight gain at the end of the diet due to an overflow of deprivations.
1- Eat slowly and calmly
Eating on the go and swallowing your meal at full speed without realizing what you are swallowing is not conducive to good digestion and promotes bloating and weight gain. Take the time to chew each bite properly.
2- Actively listening to food sensations
Snacking is more often a desire to eat to overcome boredom, stress, etc., rather than real hunger. Similarly, we often finish our plate to say to finish it and not because we are still hungry.
By analyzing our feelings, especially that of satiety, we only eat the quantities our body needs and we lose any excess pounds naturally.
3- Eat 3 full meals a day
To lose weight without restrictions, you have to eat a balanced diet and this starts with the frequency and rhythm of meals. Eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner helps to avoid fatigue and snacking during the day.
4- Treat yourself to a little pleasure a week
If the body (and the mind) is constantly in a state of deprivation, cracks and weight gain are inevitable.
Conversely, indulging in pleasure once a week and while being reasonable (i.e. having a slice of chocolate cake, not two) can lead to weight loss if the dietary balance is also respected daily.
5- Think in terms of nutrients rather than calories
Rather than wanting to track down the smallest calorie, it is better to think in terms of nutrients and associations. For example, if you already have a source of starch on your plate, you will avoid eating bread, which is another starch and which promotes weight gain.
6- Stop restrictive diets
It is not uncommon to observe weight gain following several diets undertaken. Diets disrupt the body and are counterproductive if they are not followed in a supervised manner.
7- Be lenient
People with a tendency to gain weight or who are overweight are often demanding of themselves and do not have good self-esteem.
Learning to love and accept yourself allows dramatic weight loss and is much more effective than most diets.
8- Give yourself time to achieve your goals
Losing weight permanently is often long. Rapid weight loss is not a success factor because the pounds lost in record time are regained in the weeks/months that follow, to which other pounds are often added.
In the era of “everything right away”, you have to relearn patience and see over the months, and with a balanced diet, that weight loss is gradual but real.
9- Practice regular physical activity
There is no secret to losing weight you have to burn more energy than you consume. If you do not want to go on a diet, you have to bet everything on physical exertion.
By eating the same thing in terms of quantities and calories, weight loss will vary depending on whether or not you practice physical activity.
10- Hydrate
Drinking 1.5 liters of water daily eliminates waste and toxins from the body. Water provides drainage work that promotes weight loss, without changing your eating habits.
Note- however, that drinking 1.5 liters of water with a diet that is too rich in fat and sugar will not allow weight loss.
